Interior Room Painting, London
Most interior jobs live or die on the prep, not the paint — a wall that's been filled and sanded properly takes the finish evenly in two coats instead of three. We paint rooms and whole flats across South and West London from £350 per room.

Ceiling first, then walls, then woodwork last — painting in that order means any drips or cutting-in mistakes on one surface get covered by the next, rather than the other way round.
A colour change from a dark or saturated existing wall to a lighter shade usually needs a stain-blocking primer coat before the topcoats, otherwise the old colour bleeds through even after two coats of the new one.

Questions
- How many coats of paint do I actually need?
- Two full coats over prepared, primed plaster in most cases. A significant colour change — dark to light, or covering a patterned wallpaper — often needs a third, which we quote for once we've seen photos of the existing colour.
